Propserve Pest Control Division

Division 03 of 09

Registered pest control operators running inspection led treatment and scheduled control programmes for homes, offices, food premises and industrial sites.

Inspection first. Then the right treatment, in the right place.

Spraying without inspecting is how pest problems come back. Every Propserve job starts with an inspection that identifies the species, the harbourage and the entry route. The treatment for a German cockroach in a kitchen is not the treatment for a rodent run in a ceiling void, and neither is solved with a general fog.

Work is carried out by registered pest control operators using products registered for the target pest under Act 36 of 1947, applied strictly to label. You receive a treatment record showing what was applied, where, at what dilution, and how long before the area can be used again.

For commercial and food handling sites we run documented control programmes: numbered and mapped bait stations, scheduled service visits, trend reporting and an audit file that stands up to inspection.

What we treat

  • Rodent controlMapped and numbered tamper resistant stations, proofing of entry points and monitored bait take.

  • Bird proofingNetting, spikes and exclusion work on ledges, signage, plant rooms and loading areas.

How a treatment runs

  1. InspectionWe identify the species, find the harbourage and trace the entry route, and photograph what matters.
  2. Written recommendationYou get a plan that states the treatment, the products, the preparation you must do, and how long before the area can be used again.
  3. TreatmentApplied by a registered operator, to label, with occupants and food handling areas properly protected.
  4. Follow upScheduled where the pest's life cycle requires it. Bedbugs and cockroaches almost always need a second visit.
  5. Ongoing programmeFor commercial sites, a fixed service cycle with station maps, service records and a reporting file.

Suited to

Safety around people, pets and food

Every product we use is registered for its target pest and applied at label dilution. Before treatment we tell you the preparation required, which areas to vacate, how long before the area can be used again, and what to do about pets, fish tanks and food. Safety data sheets are available on request for anything applied on your property, and treatment records are kept for audit purposes.

Common questions

Do I have to leave the building?

It depends on the treatment. Gel baiting and station work usually need no evacuation at all. Space treatments and fumigation do, and we will tell you in writing before we start exactly how long the area must stay empty.

How soon will it work?

Rodent bait take is normally visible within days. Cockroach gel baiting works through the colony over one to two weeks. Bedbugs need the full programme including the follow up. A single visit is not a cure.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Programme work carries a service guarantee: if the pest returns within the agreed period, we return at no charge. Once off treatments carry a shorter warranty, stated on the quote.

Can you treat a food premises during trading?

Yes, but it is usually scheduled around service. We work to food safety requirements on product choice and placement, and leave the documentation your auditor will ask for.
