Controlled high pressure and soft washing of paving, façades, roofs, parking areas and industrial floors, matched to the surface so the dirt comes off and the substrate does not.
Pressure is a tool, not a setting.
The damage done by pressure washing is nearly always done by using too much of it on the wrong surface. Full pressure will strip the sand from block paving joints, erode soft plaster, drive water behind cladding, tear roof tile coatings and permanently etch sandstone. The skill is knowing which surface takes 200 bar, which takes a rotary surface cleaner, and which needs low pressure soft washing with a cleaning agent doing the work instead.
We match pressure, nozzle, flow, temperature and distance to the substrate on every job, and we soft wash anything that will not survive direct pressure: painted walls, roof coatings, cladding, older plaster and most natural stone.
For organic growth we use a treatment approach rather than brute force. Blasting moss and lichen off a surface removes what you can see; the spores stay, and it is back within a season. Treating it kills the growth at the root so the surface stays clean substantially longer.

Where we will advise against it
Some surfaces should not be pressure washed at all: friable plaster, damaged pointing, older sandstone, chalking paintwork and certain roof coatings. On those we will either soft wash or tell you that cleaning is not the answer and that the surface needs repair or recoating instead. It is a shorter conversation than explaining afterwards why a wall lost its finish.
Common questions
Will it damage my paving?
Not when the pressure is matched to the surface. Excessive pressure strips joint sand and pits the block face, which is why we replace joint sand after cleaning and dial the pressure to the paving rather than the other way round.
Can you remove oil stains?
Usually, substantially. Hot water and a degreaser lift most oil from concrete. Old oil that has soaked deep into porous concrete may leave a shadow, and we will tell you upfront what a realistic result looks like.
Will the moss come back?
Much more slowly if it is treated rather than only blasted off. Blast only cleaning leaves the spores behind and growth typically returns within a season; a biocidal treatment kills it at the root.
Do you need my water and power?
We normally use your supply, which is standard for this work and negligible in cost. Where a site has no supply we can arrange to bring our own. Just tell us when you request the quote.
